Slow Art Day is coming to Austin on Saturday, April 28 Slow Art Day is coming to Austin on Saturday, April 28! One day each year, people around the world meet up with friends — new and old — to celebrate the joy of looking at art slowly. This all-volunteer movement got its start in 2009 at the Museum of Modern Art, in New York City, and has grown to include events on every continent. As Henry David Thoreau said, “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” So slow down, and enjoy!
